Timothy Rutare

Timothy Rutare serves as an Information Systems Officer at HISP Uganda, where he supports the technical operations of health information systems, strengthening Uganda's national health programmes. His work centres on DHIS2 deployment, spanning initial metadata design and system configuration through to ongoing maintenance and API-based integrations with third-party platforms, ensuring that health data environments remain reliable, well-structured, and fit for purpose. He holds a BSc in Business Computing from Makerere University Business School and a MSc in Computing and Information Systems from Liverpool John Moores University, grounding his practice in both the technical and analytical dimensions of health informatics.
