Edwin Muhumuza Arinda

Edwin Muhumuza Arinda is a Junior Software Developer at HISP Uganda, where he develops and supports digital health solutions that strengthen data systems and decision-making processes.

He specializes in integrating and extending platforms like DHIS2 and Apache Superset, building custom dashboards, data collection tools, and analytics systems used in public sector programs. His work focuses on transforming complex data into actionable insights through scalable and user-friendly solutions.

In addition, Edwin has hands-on experience working with the DHIS2 Android ecosystem, where he contributes to the development and customization of mobile data entry applications using Kotlin. His work includes improving data synchronization, handling complex configurations such as attribute option combinations, and enhancing user experience for field-based data capture.

Edwin is driven by a strong interest in innovation, particularly in applying AI and modern software practices to improve health information systems, mobile data collection, and real-time analytics.
